2016 was, quite a year.

On the corner of a Northern town these tracks were performed and produced with love and compassion, against a backdrop of wrack and ruin.

The purpose of launching Anklebreka Records was to establish a label which stayed well out of it's musicians way. To not meddle with the truth. There was no business plan or mission statement, partially because running a record label makes no financial sense at all, but more importantly because not everything in this world needs to turn a profit to be considered valuable. Maybe as we move into 2017, we'd all do well to remember that.

So here it is, all in one collection, the fruits of the first year of Anklebreka.
